VYB COMPANY AUDITIONS!!
VYB Company Auditions are at Event Show Productions on Oct. 10th at 7pm. Auditions for all levels and ages 15 and up. Will be tested with Jazz and Hip-Hop choreography. There will be a Professional Company Team and a Training Team to train you to become an amazing dancer and performer! Post questions or email them to feelthevyb@gmail.com. VAMPIRE BALL AUDITIONS
In search of Dancers for an event on the 29th of October . I'm looking for Male Dancers that are great with choreo. Dancers get paid $200 : includes photo shoot, video shoot, weekend workshops at the Jumbolair Mansion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVtRw4rMw
Practice dates are the weekends of Sept 25th, Oct. 2nd, Oct 23rd, and the event is on Oct. 29th. We will spend the night and work out of the Jumbolair Mansion!!! Saturday and Sunday. Let's Get it!!

IS IT WORTH GETTING A DANCE AGENT???
Does anyone know if it is worth going to find a dance agent? If so where are the good agents?
HOW CAN I GET A JOB AS A DANCER IN TAMPA?
Bush Gardens holds monthly auditions for dancers. It is the first Wed. of every month, go to their human resources desk. Wear tight clothes that show what you look like and jazz shoes. If you don't make it the first time keep going back if it is something you really want to get into, or try to audition for seasonal work....it is a good way to get your foot in the door. Summer nights and Hollowscream and Christmas show are seasonal and they cast a couple of months before the actual show.
For everyone asking to be a part of ESP(Event Show Productions).....You need to go meet with anyone in the office during the day and show them what you look like and how you dance. From my experience they cast on personality and a long resume will do you no good. Be available when they call you to get your foot in the door and they hold an audition sometimes for New Years Eve Dancers since there are a lot of jobs during those couple days. Don't just call them and send them a really nice picture....actually go to the office and meet them!
For breakers....I know that G-force has rotating break dancers on and off cruise ships in miami. If you are interested in moving down there then send Mike Garcia(owner) a video of what you can do. http://www.gforceshow.com/.
For Disney Auditions in Orlando....go to http://www.disneyauditions.com/ and they have all the listings up there. I've heard you need to be well rounded in ballet and jazz.
If you are a modern dancer, Maria Capitano has a company called Bella Danza. She may be interested in training you in some dance pieces where you can perform with her throughout Tampa.
Post on this blog if you know of any teaching jobs in the area or other dancer outlets to find work in Tampa!!
